The summer Blockbuster season has started with Furious 7, the seventh installment in the Fast & Furious film series. The 2015 Blockbuster was written by Chris Morgan and directed by James Wan, starred Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez,Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham.
The film marks the final film appearance of Paul Walker, who died on November 30, 2013, with filming only half-completed. After Walker’s death, filming was delayed for script re-writes and the audiences were afraid that the last movie appeared Walker might never be on screen.
Released on on April 1,2015, F&F7 follows the story in Furious 6, after defeating international bad guy Owen Shaw. The family of racing cars think they can return to their lives in Los Angeles. However, Deckard (Jason Statham), vows revenge on the team for their role in his brother’s death.
Deckard Shaw goes on a rampage, attempting to pick off the Fast family one-by-one. Following the funeral of one of their own, Dom (Diesel) meets with a new government agency that contracts the team to recover a hacker and her surveillance program that allows a user to hack into any phone, mic or camera on the planet to track someone down. From there, the agency helps the team of drivers track down Deckard Shaw.
Furious 7 did not impress the audience just by the racing scene or the explosions, it also made the fan to remember as long as possible with the hit song at the end of the movie called “See you again”, performed by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth. The song was the tribute the late Paul Walker.
According to the Wall Street Journal reports, 230 cars were destroyed during the movie shoots in Colorado, Atlanta and Abu Dhabi. Around 20 to 30 damaged cars were removed from the shooting site and crushed by Colorado firm Bonnie’s Car Crushers to ensure they would not end up back on the market. Although the plot wasn’t highly appreciated by the film critics, Fast & Furious 7 has sped to a $500m total at the worldwide box office in under a week and will become the highest-grossing film of 2015 in a matter of days.
